Feby Indirani is the author of a number of fiction and nonfiction books. Indonesia Tatler named her as one of the four best contemporary Indonesian women writers in 2019. She introduced a trilogy of short stories of magical Islamism. The first book, Bukan Perawan Maria (first published by Pabrikultur, 2017), was appreciated by literary critics and international media because of its criticism of the Islamic world using humor and compassion. The book has also been published in Italy (Add Editore, 2019). Memburu Muhammad (Bentang Pustaka, 2020) is the second book of the trilogy.
