A critic, curator, and researcher in popular cultural studies with a focus on comics, film, and literature. In 2010, he was a recipient of the Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowship and conducted a journalistic research on the globalization of manga subculture in Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. With Pabrikultur, he curated and held comics exhibitions in Jakarta, Frankfurt, Brussel, and London. He is a board member of Madani International Film Festival, and first deputy manager and member of the Film Commitee of the Jakarta Arts Council 2020–2023.
